Wigton Baths will now re-open. It comes after a two-week closure for energy upgrades. The improvement work includes new, state-of-the-art boilers that will save money and keep the pool water warm. Cumberland Council thanks the public for their patience and apologizes for any inconvenience due to barrier improvements on Georgian Way in Carlisle. Work starts at Victoria Place and affects the junction at the Civic Centre. The works will last three weeks, weather permitting. Council staff will assist pedestrians during barrier deliveries.
